Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between HeavyWeight Prizefighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greek Gyros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prizefighter comes to the cage accompanied by Under and Over it by ffdp. Gyros has chosen Greek Gyros as his entrance music. Greek Gyros has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gyros closes the distance and clinches up with Prizefighter, looking for a takedown. Gyros pushes Prizefighter against the cage but Prizefighter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gyros tries to bum rush Prizefighter with a series of wild strikes but Prizefighter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Prizefighter counters with a head kick that drops Gyros to the mat! Gyros scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Prizefighter counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Prizefighter.
HeavyWeight Prizefighter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greek Gyros.
Prizefighter misses with a body punch.
Gyros tries to break free but Prizefighter pushes him back against the cage.
Gyros wants a takedown.
Gyros misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gyros tries to break the clinch but Prizefighter is controlling the position.

Prizefighter manages to break the clinch.
Gyros looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Prizefighter is fending him off so far but Gyros persists. Nope, Prizefighter circles away and we're back to standing.

and Prizefighter counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Prizefighter.
Prizefighter digs a right hand underneath Gyros's ribcage. Gyros let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Prizefighter breaks the clinch.
Gyros throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Prizefighter's waist but Prizefighter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gyros off to one side.
Gyros is trying desperately to land a takedown but Prizefighter is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Gyros.

Prizefighter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Prizefighter wants to pass the guard but Gyros is keeping the position.

Gyros has a closed guard, preventing Prizefighter from standing up.
Prizefighter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Prizefighter lands a couple of elbows.
Gyros keeping moving, preventing Prizefighter from controlling successfully.
Gyros looking to hit a scissor sweep but Prizefighter is one step ahead there.
Prizefighter has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gyros is proving hard to escape from.
Gyros wants to sweep but no luck.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Prizefighter's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Prizefighter prevents Gyros from getting back to his feet.
Gyros wants to sweep here but Prizefighter controlling him for the moment.

Prizefighter wants to pass the guard but Gyros is keeping the position.
Prizefighter slips nicely into half guard.
Prizefighter thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gyros's head.

Prizefighter tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gyros knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Prizefighter scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Gyros tries to roll over but Prizefighter keeps him under control.
Prizefighter is thwarting Gyros's attempts to control the position.
Prizefighter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Prizefighter looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Prizefighter throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Gyros wants to control but Prizefighter is keeping busy.
Gyros avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Prizefighter.
Prizefighter works his foot free and advances to mount.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Prizefighter breaks from Gyros's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Prizefighter cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

It looks like Greek Gyros has been cut.
Prizefighter is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gyros can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Prizefighter lands a heavy elbow.
Gyros tries to reverse the position but Prizefighter maintains control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prizefighter is landing with some decent strikes but Gyros is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

HeavyWeight Prizefighter dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Greek Gyros's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sloppy strikes from Gyros. Those never looked like landing.
Gyros shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and as Gyros loses concentration momentarily, Prizefighter counters with a picture perfect head kick! Gyros goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
