The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredriksson has his takedown stuffed
and Masters counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Mega Fredriksson has been cut.
Masters cracks the inside of Fredriksson's front leg.
Masters throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fredriksson.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Masters gets tackled into the cage by Fredriksson. Fredriksson maintains the clinch.

Masters lands a hook that snaps the head of Fredriksson backwards.
Fredriksson wants to take the fight to the mat but Masters manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Fredriksson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Fredriksson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Masters regains guard immediately.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Masters looking for a guillotine here but Fredriksson defends easily.

Masters looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fredriksson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Masters working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fredriksson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fredriksson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fredriksson wants to control from the top but Masters keeps moving.

Masters has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fredriksson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Masters has tightened it up now! Fredriksson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
