Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Laranja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ninja Samurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Laranja on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Samurai has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Samurai fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Laranja has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Samurai has Laranja pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Laranja is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Samurai - that's hurt Laranja badly! Oh, another knee lands and Laranja is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Laranja doesn't seem to be complaining.
