With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dots Raining Pain!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mitchell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mitchell lands in his opponent's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Raining Pain is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mitchell would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Mitchell's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Mitchell trying to control the position from guard on top but Raining Pain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mitchell wants to pass the guard but Raining Pain is keeping the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Devin Mitchell.

Mitchell drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mitchell looking to sit in guard and control but Raining Pain gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mitchell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Raining Pain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mitchell wants to improve his position but instead Raining Pain has moved into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mitchell trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Mitchell can't escape the position.
Mitchell is working hard here to advance position.

Raining Pain avoids the attempt from Mitchell to control.

Raining Pain working for a submission but Mitchell is keeping him at bay.

Raining Pain looking for a guillotine from mount but Mitchell is having none of it.

Raining Pain looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Mitchell is defending well. Raining Pain quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Mitchell has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Raining Pain celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
