Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Agapit Blondi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Agapit Blondi has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Agapit Blondi seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Blondi prevents the takedown attempt.

West throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

West lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blondi circles away quickly and effectively.

West swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jay West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and West counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Blondi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
West swings for the body but Blondi moves out of range.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

West fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Blondi checks it well.

West fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blondi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
West keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Blondi moves into range and clinches up with West.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for West.
West stalling in the clinch but Blondi improves position.
West creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Blondi's defenses.

Blondi jumps guard and drags West to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Blondi wants to sweep here but West controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Agapit Blondi.

Blondi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Blondi shoots in looking for a takedown but West manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Blondi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

West sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blondi's guard.
Jay West has got the better of the ground game so far.

Well West has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
