The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers swats away the attempt to clinch by guy.
Ricky Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

guy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Rogers looking for submissions off his back.
guy is taking a breather. Rogers says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
I looks like guy might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rogers has his foot on guy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. guy works his way back into a safe position though.

Rogers had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. guy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rogers Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take guy's back instead.

Rogers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. guy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
guy looking to sit in guard and control but Rogers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
guy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rogers not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

sumyoun guy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch but guy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
