Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hans Landa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Virgil Cid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Landa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ich tu dir weh - Rammstein. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Virgil Cid!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landa looks to score with a jab to the body but Cid is just out of range.
Landa moves out of range of the body kick.
Landa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A low kick from Landa is predictable there
and Cid counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Cid connects with the punch.
A head kick from Cid lands but Landa takes it in his stride.

It looks like Hans Landa has been cut.
Landa throws a leg kick that misses.
Landa throws a right and a left that Cid avoids nicely.
Landa moves out of range of the body kick from Cid.
Landa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cid pinned against the cage. Cid gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Landa tries to close the distance and clinch but Cid swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Landa scores with a jab. Cid acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cid is looking to slow Landa down with leg kicks.

Landa thows a body shot but no joy.
Hans Landa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Landa throws out a loose jab but Cid uses good head movement to avoid it.
Landa misses with a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Landa throws a head kick that misses.
Landa does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Landa takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Cid lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Landa dodges the punch combination from Cid.
Nice defenses there by Cid.
Virgil Cid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice sprawl there from Cid as Landa shoots in.
Cid connects with a nice looking jab.

Landa is rocked!

Cid flashes Landa a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Landa's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Landa crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Cid punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
