The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai tries to clinch there but Briggs circles away.
Thai defending well as Briggs loads up on a big left hand.
Briggs shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Briggs showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Briggs prevents Thai from getting back to his feet.
Briggs makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Briggs's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Briggs pushes down on Thai's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Briggs lands a big elbow - Thai is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Thai is forced to tap out!
