Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Horst Gross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cael Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cael Wolf will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf throws a series of punches but Gross avoids them all with ease.
Gross doesn't manage to clinch there - Wolf circles away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Wolf checks a leg kick.
Wolf fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Gross wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wolf accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wolf shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gross as he jumps to the side.

Gross rushes Wolf and presses him up against the cage.

Wolf turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Gross is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wolf off and has taken his back!
Wolf has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Gross really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Wolf.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gross's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Gross seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wolf for as long as he can get away with.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Cael Wolf will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gross fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wolf sprawls well initially but Gross persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gross could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Gross is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wolf doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gross.

Gross uses his free foot to push down on Wolf's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wolf.
Wolf is in all sorts of trouble here.

Gross is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Wolf gets tackled into the cage by Gross. Gross maintains the clinch.

Gross pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A punch combination from Wolf misses.
Gross checks a leg kick nicely.
Wolf doesn't manage to clinch there - Gross circles away.
Wolf avoids the head kick by Gross.
Gross closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wolf circles away.
Wolf scores with a one two! Gross had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Wolf stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wolf wants it to stay on the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wolf rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gross moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gross lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wolf circles away quickly and effectively.
Gross has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gross there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wolf gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Gross decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wolf's guard.

Wolf lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gross!
Gross tries to lock up and control but Wolf gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Wolf tries to push Gross's head away but Gross is holding on tight.
Wolf cracks Gross with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Wolf jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Gross is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Gross and Wolf has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Gross manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Gross gets full guard.

Gross has his feet on Wolf's thighs here. He's pushed Wolf off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Wolf screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
