Harold comes into the arena with marble floors blaring out of the sound system. Chase Harold has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harold walks into a straight right hand from Colorado.
Colorado misses with a two punch combination.
A combination from Colorado does no damage.
Harold dodges the punch combination from Colorado.

Harold shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Harold sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Colorado defending well though.
Colorado keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Colorado tries to kick Harold off but Harold keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Harold wants to work for an arm triangle but Colorado is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Harold thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Harold is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Colorado defends it well.

Harold stops Colorado from getting back to his feet.

Harold distracts Colorado with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Harold has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Harold stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Colorado swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Harold forces his way into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Harold shoots in but Colorado avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Colorado connects with a looping right hand.
No joy there for Colorado, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Colorado scores with a hook.
Harold takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Colorado throws a nice looking combination but Harold bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Colorado throws a right and a left that Harold avoids nicely.
Colorado throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Harold counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Colorado's guard now.
Harold throws a strike but Colorado rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Colorado is breathing heavily.
Colorado wants to stand but Harold is controlling his posture from full guard.

Harold pushes Colorado off and scrambles back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes from Colorado. Those never looked like landing.
Colorado stuffs the takedown.
Colorado connects with a body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harold shoots in for a takedown but Colorado shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chase Harold. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Colorado ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mike Colorado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harold is looking to clinch.

Harold tries to move into range but Colorado moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Colorado fails to land with a series of punches.
Colorado displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Colorado throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harold.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Colorado enables Harold to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Colorado manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Harold is looking to work some ground and pound but Colorado has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harold throws a strike but Colorado rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Colorado stands up from guard. Let's bang!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Harold shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Colorado as he jumps to the side.

Harold closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Harold lands in his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Colorado showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action!


Colorado cracks Harold with a good jab.
Colorado throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Colorado lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Colorado dips to his left and cracks Harold with an uppercut!
Nice uppercut there from Colorado.


Harold is rocked!
Colorado throws a right and a left that Harold avoids nicely.
Colorado drops Harold with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Harold! Colorado dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Colorado!
Mike Colorado is the new welterweight champion!
Mike Colorado decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
