And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jones rushes Preston and presses him up against the cage.
Preston goes for a takedown attempt but Jones pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jones connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Preston's hands.
Preston shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jones is trying to defend but Preston finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Jones's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

After the fight, Matt Preston was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
