The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rottie is looking to clinch but Gluhovs is avoiding it.
Gluhovs circles away from the clinch attempt
and Gluhovs counters with a series of strikes. Rottie will be more careful next time no doubt.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rottie. Gluhovs does a little dance to reset his feet.
A head kick from Gluhovs lands but Rottie takes it in his stride.
Rottie stalks Gluhovs and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gluhovs's face. Gluhovs staggers backwards, shaken.
Rottie connects with a body shot that sends Gluhovs's belly button to the back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rottie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gluhovs tries to avoid it but Rottie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gluhovs to the ground. Gluhovs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gluhovs jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rottie walks away with a smile on his face. Gluhovs gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gluhovs fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rottie looks to land a combination but Gluhovs avoids it well.
Rottie swings for the body but Gluhovs moves out of range.

Rottie uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gluhovs has time to react.

Gluhovs throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rottie's waist but Rottie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gluhovs off to one side.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rottie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
