Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steven Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Machin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Walter rushes Machin and presses him up against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Machin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walter has managed to get both his arms back between Machin's legs - danger averted.
Walter wants to stand but Machin is controlling his posture from full guard.

Machin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Walter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Walter stops a takedown attempt from Machin.
Steven Walter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Machin.

That was a close round but I would say that Steven Walter will probably get the nod.
