Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zrwa Banailin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Zrwa Banailin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zrwa Banailin!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banailin cracks Cote with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Banailin throws a series of punches but Cote avoids them all with ease.
Banailin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Banailin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cote sprawls well initially but Banailin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Banailin trying to pass the guard but Cote defending well.
Cote is trying to get back to full guard.
Cote tries to kick Banailin off but Banailin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Banailin performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Cote is looking to escape.
Banailin is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Cote reverses the position - he's now on top in Banailin's guard.
Banailin has a closed guard, preventing Cote from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Cote wants to stand and escape but instead Banailin has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Cote is breathing heavily.
Banailin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Banailin throws a big right hand that misses.
Banailin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Banailin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Banailin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Banailin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Zrwa Banailin has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
A combination from Banailin does no damage.
Banailin misses with a low kick as Cote jumps back.
Banailin thuds a left hand into Cote's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Banailin throws a nice looking combination but Cote bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Banailin scores with a hook.
Banailin feints a jab promting Cote to slip. Banailin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cote slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Cote is rocked!
Banailin drops Cote with a left and a right! Oh, Cote is hurt - Banailin dives into side control looking to finish!
Oh Cote is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Banailin scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Cote is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Banailin can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zrwa Banailin!
