Butts lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Butts.
Butts fails to land with a series of punches.
Butts misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Butts misses with a series of wild punches.
Mein tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Butts paws at him with a jab and circles away.
No joy there for Butts, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Butts comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Butts lands a left and a right that send Mein crashing to the mat, dazed. Butts thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Mein is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Butts plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Mein swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Mein face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

In his post fight interview, Philmore Butts started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
