The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diamonds tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Leati manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Diamonds tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Diamonds looks to clinch
and Leati counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Leati keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Diamonds takes a shot to the body in his stride.

and Diamonds counters with a leg kick.
Leati moves forwards but Diamonds connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Leati blocks a head kick by Diamonds.

It looks like Shine Like A Diamonds has been cut.
Diamonds tries to close the distance and clinch up but Leati swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Shine Like A Diamonds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Leati counters with a nice right hand that sends Diamonds toppling to the canvas! Diamonds scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Leati finish him?!
Paso Leati is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Leati circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Diamonds to the canvas! Diamonds doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Leati keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
