Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Kill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Klose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Klose!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kill dodges the punch combination from Klose.

Klose looking to score a takedown here. Kill is defending well but Klose drives through and ends up in Kill's guard.
Kill not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Klose throws an elbow that misses. Kill uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Klose's guard. Nice move by Kill!

Kill leaves Klose with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Klose really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Klose connects with a nice short shot to Kill's temple.

Frank Klose showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!



Klose closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kill did well to prevent Klose getting side control.
Kill wants to control but Klose is keeping busy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kill enables Klose to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kill manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Klose winds up and cracks Kill with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Bill Kill has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Frank Klose is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Oh Kill is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Klose lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kill quite badly. Kill pulls Klose in close trying to recover. Klose postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kill on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kill doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Klose!
