Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jyrki Jyytti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandao's entrance music is The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army. A fine choice. Jyytti has chosen Mass Destruction (Reincarnation) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao connects with a solid leg kick.
Brandao ducks under a wild hook from Jyytti.
Jyytti is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brandao.
Brandao on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Marcus Brandao has been cut.
Brandao swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jyytti.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brandao connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jyytti looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jyytti shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jyytti was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Jyytti is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brandao knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brandao is looking to regain half guard here but Jyytti keeps moving and retains side control.

Jyytti is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brandao is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Brandao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jyytti on the ground.
Brandao wants to control but Jyytti postures up.
Jyytti looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Jyytti postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Jyytti tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jyytti has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jyytti postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Jyytti working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Jyytti is trying to get an arm triangle but Brandao is defending well.
Jyytti is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Brandao looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jyytti gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Brandao is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jyytti lets go of the hold and Brandao can pop his arm back in it's socket.
