Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Amir Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty Mcghee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcghee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcghee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khan pinned against the cage. Khan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Khan has his foot on Mcghee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mcghee works his way back into a safe position though.

Khan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mcghee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mcghee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
