The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daily gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Daily looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Schmierer is fending him off so far but Daily persists. Nope, Schmierer circles away and we're back to standing.

Daily shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Schmierer as he avoids it easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Daily is nestled in close to Schmierer, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Schmierer circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Daily to the canvas! Daily doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Schmierer keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
