The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stevens counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Frank Castle has been cut.

Castle fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Stevens to the ground. Castle is now in Stevens's guard.
Castle wants to control from the top but Stevens keeps moving.

Stevens throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Castle loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Stevens looking for a guillotine here but Castle defends easily.

Stevens is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Castle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Stevens is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Castle defends well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Castle is looking to work some ground and pound but Stevens has wrist control.

Castle stands and throws Stevens's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Stevens is looking for a sweep.

Castle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stevens, who protects the arm well.
