mcdonagh tries to clinch up but Smilehoven circles away and keeps his distance.
Smilehoven avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
mcdonagh lands an overhand right.

It looks like Jim Smilehoven has been cut.
mcdonagh doesn't manage to clinch there - Smilehoven circles away.
mcdonagh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smilehoven's waist but Smilehoven gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing mcdonagh off to one side.
