Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kai Ny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rokki Kukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kukko's choice of entrance music: Brother Firetribe - I Am Rock. Rokki Kukko has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kai Ny's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ny jabs Kukko right on the nose. Kukko blinks but takes it well.
Kukko dives in and grabs Ny's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ny pushes down on Kukko's head and hops out.
Ny cracks a nice hook into Kukko's ribs.
Ny thumps Kukko with a low kick.
Ny fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jab by Ny.
Ny throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ny ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kukko takes one on the button.
Ny ducks under a wild hook from Kukko.
Ny throws a good cross that connects.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kukko looks to land a right hand but Ny moved out of range.
Ny throws a head kick but Kukko moves out of range.
Kukko tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ny getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ny slips a jab from Kukko.
Kukko ducks right into an uppercut from Ny.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ny, right into the meat.

and Ny counters with a slapping leg kick.

Ny scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Kai Ny is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ny throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kukko on the side of the head.
Ny bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Kukko manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ny on his heels. He'll look to pass Ny's guard now, I'm sure.
Ny looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kukko is one step ahead there.
Kukko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ny swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ny wants to stand up but Kukko is controlling him.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Ny is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kukko's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kukko lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Kukko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ny is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Kukko stands up over Ny, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Rokki Kukko has got the better of the ground game so far.
