The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Po has taken the fight to the clinch.
Po with a knee to the head.
Couture jumps guard but Po stands there with Couture around his waist. Couture gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Couture stops a takedown attempt from Po.
Couture goes for a takedown attempt but Po pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Po moves in looking to clinch but Couture pushes him off.
Po cracks the inside of Couture's front leg.

Couture closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Couture working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Po's thigh. Po counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Couture forces his way into half guard.
Couture not doing much here.

Couture wants to free his trapped foot but Po is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Couture is taking a breather. Po says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Couture is looking for a kimura here.
Po is breathing heavily.
Couture takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Po is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Couture scores with a couple of nice shots.
Couture works his way into side control.
Po is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Couture asserts his dominance and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on Po's face as Couture controls the position.
Couture passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Po!
Couture takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Couture has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Po is defending well but eventually Couture manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Po has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
