Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aslanbek Basayev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brutaali Pekka!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basayev throws a nice looking combination but Pekka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pekka decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pekka takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Pekka is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Basayev doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pekka.
Pekka looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Pekka is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Basayev is just riding it out for now. Pekka eventually gives up the hold.
Basayev keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Pekka seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pekka seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Basayev is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Brutaali Pekka!
A relieved looking Brutaali Pekka thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
