Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Rubio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Rubio is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado shoots in for a takedown but Rubio shows good takedown defense.
Rubio tests Machado's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Rubio rushes Machado and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Machado trying to control the position but instead, Rubio has worked for underhooks and has pushed Machado into the cage.

Machado is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rubio is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Machado to the mat. Machado regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Machado tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Machado keeping moving, preventing Rubio from controlling successfully.
Rubio looking to pass the guard.
Machado is trying to hold Rubio in close to prevent damage but Rubio has managed to pass into half guard.
Rubio has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Machado is squirming around, avoiding Rubio's attempts to control the action.

Rubio stands up from mount. Strange move.
Rubio avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Machado fails with a takedown attempt.
No luck for Machado with that takedown attempt.
Adam Rubio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manny Machado.
Machado is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rubio sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Rubio moves into the clinch.
Machado is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rubio gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Rubio pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rubio is on top in guard.

Rubio passes Machado's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Rubio seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Machado does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Rubio looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Machado is in trouble now - Rubio has advanced to mount!
Rubio looking to control but Machado is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Rubio has hold of Machado's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Machado manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rubio wants to control the pace but Machado is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rubio is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Machado keeping moving, preventing Rubio from controlling successfully.
Rubio controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Machado working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Rubio has passed into half guard!
Rubio passes the guard and advances to mount!

Rubio lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Machado hang on?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rubio tries to control but Machado wriggling away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rubio is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Machado is in real trouble.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Rubio's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Machado fails with an attempt to clinch.
Machado shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rubio closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Machado is looking to break free of the clinch but Rubio has double underhooks.

Rubio has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Machado is trying to keep an underhook but Rubio manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Machado is not content to let Rubio control the position.
Rubio passes to full mount!
Machado is desperately trying to improve his position but Rubio has a good base and remains in mount.
Rubio throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Machado because Rubio loaded up on that one.
Machado really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rubio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Machado is squirming around, avoiding Rubio's attempts to control the action.

Rubio lands a big elbow.
Rubio takes Machado's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Machado is in trouble.

Rubio sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Machado taps out!

Adam Rubio really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Charlie Wang's Tattered Rags & 95% Laundry logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
