PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stump Morbid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Astyn Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morbid might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hells Bells. Astyn Martin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stump Morbid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Astyn Martin!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Martin or perhaps it was just good defense by Morbid which made him look bad.
Martin keeps the fight on the outside.
Stump Morbid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morbid thuds his right hand into Martin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Astyn Martin has been cut.
Morbid throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The fight stays on the outside here - Morbid looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Morbid rushes Martin and presses him up against the cage.
Morbid lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Morbid connects with a knee to the head.
Morbid lands with a left to the head.

Morbid breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Martin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Morbid goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Morbid rushes Martin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Morbid breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Morbid moves in looking to clinch but Martin pushes him off.
Martin looks for a takedown but Morbid sprawls well.
Stump Morbid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Astyn Martin.

Morbid gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Morbid maintains plum control as Martin tries to back straight out! Morbid connects with one knee! Two knees! Three, four, five, six...seven unasnwered knees! Martin blocks the eight but eats the ninth - then collapses! Oh the brutality!
