Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fire circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Smith throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fire.
Fire avoids the head kick by Smith.
Smith misses with a two punch combination.
Smith plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fire shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fire shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Fire is looking for a triangle but Smith pushes his legs off easily.

Fire bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Smith's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Smith is on top in guard.

Smith stands up over Fire, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Fire is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smith's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smith's back!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
