Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burhani closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Burhani lands in his opponent's guard.
Henderson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Osama Burhani has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Burhani is pressing down on Henderson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Henderson is holding on for now.
Burhani could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Burhani is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Henderson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Burhani is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Henderson defends it well.
Henderson wants to improve his position but Burhani is controlling well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Henderson sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Henderson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Burhani's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Burhani's back!

Burhani tries to escape but Henderson has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Henderson is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

A close second round but Rashad Henderson will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Burhani moves to clinch but Henderson breaks away

and Henderson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Burhani jumps guard and drags Henderson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Burhani is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Henderson rolls with it to try and escape but Burhani cranks on the arm and Henderson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
