The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas thows a body shot but no joy.
Vegas drops his hands momentarily and Green takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Violent Vegas has been cut.

Green fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Vegas checks it well.
Vegas has a takedown stuffed.
Green cracks Vegas with a good jab.

Vegas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vegas showed some decent athleticism there.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Green keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Vegas thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Green's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vegas seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Green can do anything to dispel that myth.
Green wants to control but Vegas is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Vegas slips a nice elbow through Green's hands, connecting with Green's forehead.

Vegas wants to take a breather but Green is having none of it.

Green has hold of Vegas's hands but Vegas slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Green is trying to control but can't.
Green tries to get to full guard but Vegas has control of the leg.
Vegas looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Green with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Vegas winds up and cracks Green with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Green on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vegas lands with a punch from half guard.

Well, if Vegas is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Vegas sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Green! Oh, Green is in big trouble! Vegas lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!

Violent Vegas decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
