The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte tries a head kick but it misses.

Duarte closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Frederick to the mat! Frederick manages to get full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Duarte trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
