Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caiaphas Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is AVANTASIA-Seven Angels. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Caiaphas Caine enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caine dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Caine lands a really nice looking cross but Rua seems unphased.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rua. Caine does a little dance to reset his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Rua is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Caine drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rua looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rua looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rua!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That has opened up Caiaphas Caine's cut even more.
Caine throws a sloppy head kick and Rua moves out of range easily.
Caine takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Caine shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rua manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Caine throws an elbow that misses. Rua uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Caine's guard. Nice move by Rua!
Rua is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Rua has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Caine had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rua defends it easily.

Caine has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Rua should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Caine has tightened it up now! Rua should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
