Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tor Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cabbage Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Face has chosen Monsta's Ball as his entrance music. Cabbage Face told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hammer's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Face seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Face throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hammer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hammer has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Face is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hammer.
Hammer manages to work his way to half guard, despite Face's best efforts.

Hammer has hold of Face's hands but Face slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Face winds up and cracks Hammer with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Hammer has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Face. Oh but Hammer has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Face goes limp - he's gone! Hammer jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
