Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Random Task (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maksim Ivanski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Random Task!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maksim Ivanski!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Task walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Task lands a jab.
Ivanski shoots in but Task avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Task misses the target.

Ivanski has taken the fight to the clinch.
Task lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ivanski backwards.
Task lands with a light punch inside.
Ivanski blocks an uppercut.
Ivanski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Task is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ivanski lands a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Task escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ivanski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ivanski has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Task is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ivanski.

Task stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Ivanski shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ivanski showed some decent athleticism there.

Task is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ivanski defends well.

Ivanski passes Task's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ivanski slips a nice elbow through Task's hands, connecting with Task's forehead.
The fighters are battling for position here. Task manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Ivanski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ivanski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Task swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Task utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Task is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ivanski.

Task clobbers Ivanski with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Task throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Random Task will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Ivanski shoots in for a takedown but Task shows good takedown defense.
Ivanski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Random Task has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maksim Ivanski.

Maksim Ivanski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

I think Ivanski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
