Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Keel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Sieler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Keel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ron Sieler!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sieler takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fighters circling - Sieler throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Keel moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Sieler feints a jab promting Keel to slip. Sieler then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Keel slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Keel avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Keel.
Keel looks to land a combination but Sieler avoids it well.
Sieler avoids a kick to the body.
Sieler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Keel as he jumps to the side.

Keel slips a jab and a cross from Sieler.
Keel's corner calls for a 1-2. Keel obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Sieler looks to land a right hand but Keel moved out of range.

Keel rushes Sieler and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Keel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sieler's elbow.
Keel tries to throw a body punch but Sieler avoids it by throwing Keel back against the cage.

Keel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sieler manages to avoid it.
Crunch! Keel slams his shin into Sieler's torso.
Keel scores with a jab. Sieler acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Keel throws the kick towards the body but Sieler avoids it.
Sieler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Keel.
Keel looks to score with a jab to the body but Sieler is just out of range.
John Keel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sieler walks into a left hand.

Keel delivers a nice body kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sieler lands a jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Keel.

Sieler manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Keel on his heels. He'll look to pass Keel's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Keel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Keel tries to get out of the position.

Sieler is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Keel sees it coming and defends easily.

Sieler is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that John Keel will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Sieler walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Sieler pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Keel lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Keel digs a good hook to Sieler's body.

Keel has closed the distance and engaged Sieler in a clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sieler creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Sieler tightens his grip and picks Keel up, before dumping him to the ground. Keel manages to land in guard.

Sieler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Keel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Keel is looking to stand up but Sieler isn't so interested in that idea.
Sieler tries to free his leg and advance position but Keel is retaining full guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

John Keel has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Keel fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sieler has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Keel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keel ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
No luck for Sieler with that takedown attempt.
Sieler keeps the fight on the outside.
Keel stalks Sieler and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sieler's face. Sieler staggers backwards, shaken.
Sieler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Keel's waist but Keel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sieler off to one side.
Sieler doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Keel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Keel scores with a punch to the head.
Keel scores with a jab to the jaw.


Sieler is rocked!

Keel drops Sieler with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Sieler! Keel dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Keel!
After winning the bout, John Keel thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
