The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Probert misses with an uppercut. Battailen saw that one coming.
Probert looks to land a right hand but Battailen moved out of range.
Battailen scores with a nice strike.
Probert just misses with a punch to the body.
Battailen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Battailen slips under a jab from Probert.
Battailen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Probert takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Battailen scores with a leg kick.
Probert on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Battailen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Probert manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Probert cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Armand Battailen has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Probert throws out a loose jab but Battailen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Probert throws an overhand right that lands on Battailen's shoulder, as Battailen tries to avoid the shot.
Probert lands with a nice combination. Battailen backs away looking to recover.

and Probert takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Probert throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Probert fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Battailen manages to avoid it.

Good leg kick by Battailen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Battailen lands with a straight right. Probert didn't see that one coming.

and Battailen makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

The fighters circle momentarily. Battailen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Battailen throws a right hand that Probert ducks under and follows up with a left that Probert also avoids with ease.
Battailen scores with the left hand. Probert knows he should have avoided that one.
Battailen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Probert. Probert circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Battailen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Probert drops Battailen with a beautiful combination! Battailen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Probert is looking for the KO!

That has opened up Armand Battailen's cut even more.
Probert walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Battailen drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Probert swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Battailen's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
