Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Guns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Nesi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nesi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Van Canto - Battery kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guns slips under a jab from Nesi.
Guns throws a body punch but Nesi moves out of range.
Nesi moves away from the strike by Guns.

Nesi cracks Guns with an open hand slap.
Nesi lands with a hook. Guns tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Nesi just misses with a elbow thrown towards Guns's brow.
Nesi tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Guns has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nesi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nesi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Nesi gets through Guns's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Guns wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nesi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Guns tries to pull guard but Nesi holds him up against the cage and eventually Guns drops back down to his feet.

and Nesi counters by clinching up.
Nesi landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Ed Nesi seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Guns jumps guard but Nesi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
