Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter blocks a head kick by Lemon.
Lemon swinging wilding here.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lemon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Carter!

Lemon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Carter is looking to escape.

Lemon tries to control but Carter wriggling away.

Lemon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Carter looks a forlorn figure.

Carter's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Lemon has hold of Carter's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Carter manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Carter wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee warns Carter that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Carter is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Lemon landing strikes from the mount and Carter is in trouble!
Lemon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Carter is looking to escape.

Carter tries to buck Lemon off but he can't manage it.
Lemon is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Carter has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Carter!
Lemon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Carter gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Carter misses with a body kick.

Carter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lemon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Carter's guard now.
Carter is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Lemon goes for a takedown in the clinch but Carter prevents it.
Lemon prevents Carter from breaking the clinch.
Carter prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lemon is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Carter pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Lemon lands a left hand that snaps the head of Carter backwards.
Lemon digs a right hand underneath Carter's ribcage. Carter let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Lemon wants the takedown. Carter is fighting it off but Lemon persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Carter's guard against the cage.

Carter looks like he's trying to stand up.
Carter kicks off Lemon and gets to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Carter wants to stand but Lemon is controlling the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lemon's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Lemon passes Carter's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Carter wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Carter fails to land with a series of punches.
Carter has Lemon up against the cage in a clinch.
Lemon trying to stall but Carter improves his position.
Lemon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Carter just stands there and leans against the cage.
Carter tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Carter wants to get back to striking at distance but Lemon won't allow it.
Carter wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lemon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lemon lands a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carter keeping moving, preventing Lemon from controlling successfully.
Carter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lemon is controlling him.
Lemon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carter is keeping the position for now.
Jau Lemon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Conrad Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lemon swats away the attempt to clinch by Carter.
Oh Lemon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carter misses with a double jab
and Lemon counters with a shoot takedown. Carter fights it but they end up in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carter scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Lemon throws a nice looking combination but Carter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lemon seems to have got his legs back now.
Carter drops Lemon with a right and a left! Carter comes rushing in but Lemon regains his composure and manages to keep Carter in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lemon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lemon is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Carter frees his head nicely. Oh but Lemon has switched to an armbar! Carter is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
