Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shinobu Tsukasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leandro Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues has chosen New Order Blue Monday as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Leandro Rodrigues enters the cage!

Rodrigues remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Rodrigues closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tsukasa to the mat! Tsukasa manages to get full guard.
Tsukasa has a closed guard, preventing Rodrigues from standing up.
Tsukasa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tsukasa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rodrigues has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rodrigues and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rodrigues throws out a loose jab but Tsukasa uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tsukasa sprawls well. Tsukasa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rodrigues gets slowly back to his feet.

Tsukasa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rodrigues.

Rodrigues might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Rodrigues feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I would just about give that final round to Leandro Rodrigues.
