Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Reser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osama Hussein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hussein has chosen Fat Joe 300 Brolic as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reser throws a series of punches but Hussein moves out of range.
Hussein misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Reser with a hook.

It looks like Osama Hussein has been cut.
Reser throws a leg kick but Hussein sees it coming and moves out of range.
Reser moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Hussein goes down! Can Reser finish him!?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reser wants to stand but Hussein is controlling his posture from full guard.

Reser avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Reser has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hussein looking for a sweep. Not yet Hussein, not yet.
Reser is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Reser stands up over Hussein, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Hussein has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reser can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hussein has his foot on Reser's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reser works his way back into a safe position though.

Reser thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hussein controls Reser momentarily but Reser frees himself.
Reser has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hussein is proving hard to escape from.
Hussein is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hussein is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hussein manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hussein is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Reser is surviving well by controlling Hussein's body position as best he can.

Reser is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Reser is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Reser bucks up and throws Hussein to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Reser misses with a few strikes there.
Reser throws a right hand that Hussein ducks under and follows up with a left that Hussein also avoids with ease.
Reser pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reser stuffs the takedown.

Hussein shoots in and bounces Reser off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hussein stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reser swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Reser on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Reser tries to get out of the position.
Hussein stands and throws Reser's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Reser gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Hussein looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Reser tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Reser is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Hussein wants to control the pace but Reser is squirming around nicely.
Reser tries to lock up and control but Hussein gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hussein working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Hussein throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hussein goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Reser is on top in guard.

That's time! Reser's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hussein moves away from the strike by Reser.
Hussein fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hussein slips a jab and a cross from Reser.
Reser circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hussein shoots for a takedown but Reser saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Reser throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Reser bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hussein's head backwards.

That has opened up Osama Hussein's cut even more.
Reser lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Reser.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reser fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Max Reser is winning the standup battle so far.
Reser pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hussein is out of range and Reser settles back down.
Reser misses with a jab, cross combination.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hussein.

Hussein is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Reser has escaped the position, nice work there.
Reser prevents Hussein from improving position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Reser tries to escape but Hussein is in control.
Hussein connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Reser some visible discomfort.

Hussein is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Reser is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hussein is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Reser has one foot on Hussein's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Hussein darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Hussein is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Reser has managed to free his arm - good work.

Hussein is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Reser doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hussein.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Reser tries to kick Hussein off but Hussein keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Hussein is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Reser is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hussein pulls his head out easily.
Reser is staying active underneath Hussein, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Max Reser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reser throws a jab when Hussein was well out of range.
Hussein shoots in and drives through. Reser sprawls well.
Max Reser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Osama Hussein.
Hussein shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reser pinned against the cage. Reser gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hussein swats away the attempt to clinch by Reser.

Hussein slips a nice elbow through Reser's hands, connecting with Reser's forehead.

Hussein winds up and cracks Reser with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Hussein fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Reser wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hussein cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Hussein is working for a guillotine from mount but Reser frees his head quite easily.
Reser is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Hussein can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Reser is looking to escape.

Hussein goes for an armbar but Reser turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Reser.
Reser with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Reser won't allow Hussein to sweep him here.
Reser wants to stand but Hussein is controlling his posture from full guard.

Hussein had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Reser is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hussein Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Reser's back instead.
Hussein misses with an elbow to the head.

Osama Hussein comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
