The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nogueira is defended easily by Burns.
Nogueira fails to land the takedown.
No luck for Nogueira with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michal Nogueira. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Burns drops Nogueira with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nogueira looks back up at him and smiles so Burns waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Nogueira is rocked!
It looks like Michal Nogueira has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nogueira backs away from a small jab... but Burns lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Nogueira crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Burns with a spectacular finish!
