Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mitsuyo Maeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Le Blanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le Blanc is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Know It's Over - By The Smiths. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mitsuyo Maeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Kyle Le Blanc!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le Blanc missing with a left hand there. Maeda was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Le Blanc tries to land a front kick but Maeda steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Le Blanc keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Maeda shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Le Blanc's guard.

Maeda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Le Blanc pinned against the cage. Le Blanc gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mitsuyo Maeda.
I think Le Blanc has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
