Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Gomes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomes shoots in looking for a takedown. Tyson tries to sprawl out of it but Gomes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tyson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tyson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gomes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tyson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tyson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gomess head.
Tyson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Gomes stops a takedown attempt from Tyson.

Tyson manages to pull guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gomes avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gomes preventing the sweep.
Tyson is trying to control the position but Gomes postures up.
Tyson striking off his back but it's not causing Gomes any problems.

Tyson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gomes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gomes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gomes wants to control from the top but Tyson keeps moving.
Gomes sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tyson's guard.
Gomes is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Gomes wants to free his trapped foot but Tyson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Tyson wants to sweep but Gomes has passed to side control!

Tyson tries to lock up and control but Gomes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Gomes is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gomes extends the arm and Tyson is forced to tap!
