Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Butcher Luca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Rogero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luca comes to the cage accompanied by GENTLEMAN. Diego Rogero acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luca tries to clinch up but Rogero circles away and keeps his distance.
Rogero cracks Luca with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Luca closes the distance and clinches.

Luca jumps guard and drags Rogero to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Luca has his foot on Rogero's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rogero works his way back into a safe position though.

Luca escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rogero gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Luca bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rogero's guard.

Luca is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Rogero controls Luca momentarily but Luca frees himself.
Luca throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rogero works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Luca drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Luca jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Luca drops back looking for a leg! Rogero is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rogero manages to kick Luca off! Luca jumps back into Rogero's guard.

Luca is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rogero is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rogero has escaped and now he's on top!

Luca had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rogero defends it easily.

Rogero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Luca. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Luca has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rogero can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rogero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luca swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Luca working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rogero doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rogero manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rogero throws a head kick that half lands.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rogero tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Luca pushes a forearm under Rogero's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Rogero is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
