Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kari Parisyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parisyen comes to the cage accompanied by Hari ng Tondo. Dragon has chosen Taio Cruz-Dynamite as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kari Parisyen!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Dragon!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Dragon.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Parisyen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dragon, pushing him back against the cage.
Dragon works on Parisyen's body with a couple of short punches.

Parisyen gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Dragon tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Parisyen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dragon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Parisyen has managed to get both his arms back between Dragon's legs - danger averted.

Dragon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Parisyen is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Dragon still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Dragon has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dragon cracks a nice hook into Parisyen's ribs.
Parisyen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dragon swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Parisyen has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Parisyen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dragon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dragon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dragon.

Dragon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dragon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dragon content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Parisyen has locked up a guillotine! Parisyen's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Dragon is holding on here and Parisyen must be using up a lot of energy. Dragon has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Parisyen gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Kari Parisyen really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Pinoy Fightwear (95% Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
