Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ernesto Hoost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mateusz Zienkiewicz!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zienkiewicz misses with a head kick.
Zienkiewicz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hoost tries to avoid it but Zienkiewicz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hoost to the ground. Hoost escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zienkiewicz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hoost's corner calls for a 1-2. Hoost obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Zienkiewicz is rocked!
Hoost looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Zienkiewicz is still on wobbly legs! Can Hoost finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hoost with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Zienkiewicz looks winded!
Hoost thumps Zienkiewicz with a low kick.
Hoost is looking to slow Zienkiewicz down with leg kicks.
Hoost chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hoost pushes Zienkiewicz up against the cage in a clinch.
Hoost breaks the clinch.
Hoost tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Zienkiewicz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hoost moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hoost stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hoost wants it to stay on the feet.
Hoost moves in looking to clinch but Zienkiewicz pushes him off.
Hoost feints and then cracks Zienkiewicz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zienkiewicz down.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hoost looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hoost fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Zienkiewicz out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Ernesto Hoost!
