Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kim Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Figueroa comes to the cage accompanied by Ride the Lighting. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Figueroa circles away.

It looks like Adam Gracie has been cut.
Figueroa throws a front kick aimed at Gracie's knee but Gracie avoids it well.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Figueroa.
A slow jab from Gracie misses its intended target.
Kim Figueroa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Figueroa.
Figueroa just misses with a punch to the body.
Gracie checks a low kick from Figueroa.
Figueroa attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Gracie on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Figueroa. Figueroa obviously looking to wear him down.
Gracie scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Figueroa throws a front kick aimed at Gracie's knee but Gracie avoids it well.

Gracie misses with an uppercut. Figueroa saw that one coming.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Figueroa.
Gracie thows a body shot but no joy.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Figueroa enables Gracie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Figueroa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Figueroa is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Figueroa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Figueroa's legs - danger averted.

Gracie wants to control but Figueroa is keeping him busy.
Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Figueroa defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - Figueroa is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!
