PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leatherface Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scorpion Kiing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killer comes to the cage accompanied by Lamb Of God - Walk With Me In Hell. Kiing is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Living on a Prayer. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Killer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Killer is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kiing has escaped the position, nice work there.
Killer throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Killer working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Killer looks up at the clock and then as Kiing takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Killer smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kiing tries to bench press Killer off him but Killer keeps the position.

Killer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Killer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Killer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
You can see the frustration on Kiing's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Killer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kiing, who protects the arm well.
Killer is breathing heavily.
Kiing tries to buck Killer off but Killer is having none of it.

Killer goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kiing rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Killer's guard! Nice work there by Kiing!
Kiing stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Killer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kiing must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kiing wants to control from the top but Killer keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Kiing shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Killer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kiing gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kiing is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Killer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kiing connects with a couple of short punches.
Killer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kiing keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Killer's head.
Kiing stands up over Killer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kiing passes Killer's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kiing works his foot free and advances to mount.

Killer wants to escape the position.

Kiing is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Killer is defending well though. Kiing let's go of the attempt for now.

Kiing looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Killer is fending him off so far but Kiing persists. Nope, Killer circles away and we're back to standing.
Killer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Killer throws a right and a left that both miss.
Killer doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kiing counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kiing works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Killer is looking to improve his position.
Killer is in trouble now - Kiing has advanced to mount!
Kiing prevents Killer from getting the reversal.
Kiing looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kiing gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
A solid body kick from Kiing.
Killer wants to clinch
and Kiing counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Kiing forces Killer back against the cage and clinches.
Killer tries to break the clinch but Kiing is controlling the position.

Kiing breaks from the clinch.
Killer doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kiing counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Killer's guard now.
Killer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kiing is one step ahead there.

Killer looking for a guillotine here but Kiing defends easily.
Kiing trying to control but Killer is working from the bottom.

Kiing passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Killer is not content to let Kiing control the position.
Killer tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kiing lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Kiing lands a few punches from side control.

Kiing stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Killer throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

so Kiing counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Killer looking for a sweep. Not yet Killer, not yet.

Killer is looking for a triangle but Kiing pushes his legs off easily.

Killer has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kiing should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Killer has tightened it up now! Kiing should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
