The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartan tries to work over Kramer's front leg with a kick but Kramer checks it.
Leo Spartan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spartan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kramer.
Kramer staying out of range there.
Kramer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spartan.
Kramer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Spartan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kramer at a distance.
Spartan swats away the attempt to clinch by Kramer.
Spartan throws a jab but it's blocked by Kramer.

enabling Kramer to counter with a crisp jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kramer throws a looping overhand right but Spartan ducks down to avoid it.

and Kramer counters with a nice body kick.
Spartan throws a solid leg kick but Kramer takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Spartan.

Spartan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Leo Spartan has been cut.

Kramer wants to clinch up but Spartan keeps it at a distance.

and Spartan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Spartan throws a big shot that misses.

A nice inside leg kick there by Kramer. That's going to slow Spartan down.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Spartan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kramer counters with a nice uppercut.
Spartan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Spartan misses with a looping left.
Kramer has managed to clinch.
Spartan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Spartan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Spartan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Spartan is rocked!
Spartan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kramer scores with a shoulder strike.
Oh Spartan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kramer unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Spartan! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Kramer is unloading with more strikes now! Spartan drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diego Kramer!
Our winner, Diego Kramer, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
