The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Velasquez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lutsenko's guard.

Velasquez is looking for a kimura but Lutsenko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Velasquez to get the leverage.
Velasquez stops Lutsenko from getting back to his feet.
Velasquez passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lutsenko!

Velasquez is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lutsenko has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lutsenko!
Lutsenko is working Velasquez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Velasquez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lutsenko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lutsenko thows a huge punch but Velasquez dodges it nicely.
Lutsenko frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Oh Velasquez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lutsenko postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Velasquez badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Lutsenko around the waist but Lutsenko pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Lutsenko is the winner by TKO! Lutsenko jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
